Uninstalling SOA 12c from Mac

Introduction:
I had written a post earlier on how to install SOA 12c on a Mac.  For trying my hands on uninstalling the same, I followed below steps.

Steps:
1. Open Terminal and Navigate to MW_Home/oui/bin

 2. Open you are on that location, give this command - sh deinstall.sh -deinstall

 3. This will open the Deinstaller

4. On Opening screen, Click Next

5. Next page will give the Summary of products which will be Deinstalled. Click on Deinstall

6. Next screen will show the progress on Deinstall. Once it shows 100% click on Finish

7. Last screen will be displayed showing Deinstall summary.

This is all about Deinstalling SOA 12c.

Hi Hema,

Where was your local domain setup, is it at default location or on your defined location?
Do you see any files/folders there?

Let me know.

Also, just for curiosity, what was the issue which drove your to uninstall SOA?

Cheers,
Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,

Actually i'm very new to SOA just started learning.
i'm getting the below error when i start the weblogic server"BEA-280109: The JVM was unable to load the native wlfileio library for the store "{0}". File and paging stores will continue to function correctly. Specifically, file stores that are configured with a transactionally safe synchronous write policy will continue to operate safely and transactionally but may open with a different write-policy. Other store types may not be able to open."

After reinstalation i'm facing the same issue.

i have set domain at default location only. After deinstalation i can see oracle home folders and inside that wlserver folders, but no data present in it.so i manually deleted them, but it's not working.

Thanks,
Hemalatha

Hi Hemalatha,

Can you confirm if the installation has passed on the prerequisities without any warnings. I am suspecting that it is done on 32bit instead of 64 bit or some of the system configurations are not matching the required? If the WebLogic Server is installed for a 32-bit OS, it results in unavailability of 64-bit native IO files, and if WLS has being run in 64-bit mode, the system will not find the 64-bit libraries needed for improved performance.

Also, is it a Windows install or Mac?

If it is Windows, I would recommend to follow below steps:

1. Uninstall the current WLS
2. Cleanup all directories been made by the installation
3. Check if correct version of Java is installed and set Java Home
4. Restart your system
5. Try all the steps as mentioned under:
http://abhishek-soablog.blogspot.com.au/2014/11/installing-oracle-12c.html

Note: Follow the prerequisites and the Notes section properly.

Cheers,
Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,
I have installed it in the mac.actually it was working before from last 2days I'm facing this issue.
Actually I was doing jms sample example, while doing that I might have done some mistake due to that when I deployed the prj it was shown around 16k instances in queue instead of one.after that system performance was very slow so I restarted the machine..when I started weblogic then it is giving that error..is this because of the mistake which I have done..then could you please tell me what to do.
My laptop is Macbook pro 64bit.
